On the blog I manage, you have to be registered and logged in to comment.

So of course I've seen an enormous number of spam registrations.

I've made a (one-line) modification to WordPress to report the IP address of all registrations so I could manually check and report bad ones to Stop Forum Spam.

Your plugin has all the code necessary. Could you make it also check registrations and block and report bad ones?

I'll have to figure out how the inner works of WordPress registration works, but I'll definitely look into it.

Have you had any time to look into this?

Is there any way I can help? I'm not bad at reading code, and I could provide a suggested program flow.

The latest version of the plugin (v3.0) should block registrations as well.
