Some posts not displaying the widget

Hi! I've been using this plug in for around one year without any trouble. But today I'm workingin a new website and wanted to use the Groups function.

I've found some trouble to understand how it works, but so far i thought all was ok (displaying well). But found the following problems:

I have 2 main groups: Group 1: Colors, Group 2: Blog

I wanted to show in all the website the group Colors and not the group Blog. In the category "Blog"  to show only the group Blog.  So far is working. Then in each of the categories and products and other pages, the Widget with the Colors group shows perfectly.

But when I go to the category BLOG, the widget with the group Blog shows well, and when clicking on each post (single post) under BLOG category, the group Blog disappears (I double checked that in each post I have under Blog > News, have the associated the group Blog). So I have NO IDEA why is not working on this specific category.

Also dunno if its possible, so here goes a question: Is it possible to have the Parent category (in my case Colors or Blog) without a link?

I just tried to going to your site and it doesn't come up.
I'm not sure why it isn't working either, from what you explained it should work, A post associated with a category group should make the widget appear as well.

Do you have two widgets> One for Colors and one for blog?

Hi Peter,

yep the provider is just to be trashed (soon I'll be finally changing it)..  sometimes opens quickly, sometimes doesn't load, but after refreshing there it is.. so at the moment it is working, just some patience is needed..

and well yeh it has been a weird road with the plugin, first I still don't know why, there were no links at all, I disabled everything, built again the categories, the categories group, the widgets, etc,  and the links were there..

now the problem is that the widget doesn't appear at all in the single pages on the BLOG category. 

Yes I'm using 2 widgets for each category group, and I asigned the category group BLOG to each blog post..

Thanks for replying and taking a look.. I'm very puzzled.. and of course the possibility to see the categories under the BLOG category is a core function I need in my page. I hope it can be solved..

Hi again Peter,

in a moment of dunno what.. I changed the position of the widgets in the sidebar. Originally the Sizes/colors widget was above and below the Blog widget.. I inverted them, and then the Blog category group appeared in the Blog post. BUT the sizes/colors widget disappeared on each single post of the shop (the bags)..

So I guess something is being truncated in the moment the widgets are displayed. For some reason is only allowing one single group to be displayed.. this is totally weird

Also before, I tried attaching the sizes/colors widget to the blog post (the post under the Blog category) and it worked beautifully. Changed back to attach the blog group, and it was gone.

Hi Peter, I just found out that setting one post to have both category-groups, is only displaying the "first" according to the order in the Widgets admin panel. So for example in this post/product:

I just set up to show both groups, but its only showing sizes/colors.. 

Let me know if you prefer me to send you any file, or access to the admin...

Can I send you a Release Candidate that you can install and test for me. I tested it locally and it seems to work, just want to make sure before I release it.
It is a zip file that you would have to install over the old version.
