Multiple AVH Extended Categories widgets make admin site slow or crash

Hello, i have inserted multiple widgets of AVH Extended Categories (around 20) and my admin widget page is going very very slow (about 5 minutes to unfreeze) when i try make a change on the sidebar. Sometimes it freezes with no return and i have to close the window and the cpu usage hits the roof. I am using the latest version of the plugin.

Any one has similar problem?

Any solutions?

Around 20 is a lot of widgets in your sidebar but I'll check to see what I can find out.

It probably will be after Christmas before I can release a version if I can find something to solve your problem.

How many categories do you have?
