Category Group Won't Update on Page

After activating the plugin, creating a group, associating that group with specific categories - on the page, I cannot change the group. When I try and then update the page, it goes back to the original group. Any help on this? I'm using WordPress MU 2.9.2

The plugin wasn't written with MU in mind, so it could very well be a problem with that.
Does the selected category group show up when showing the page in your blog?

It does show up, just doesn't let me change the group. In the configuration settings, it seems to work fine, as far as creating and setting up the group itself. Sounds like MU is the problem. Haven't been able to upgrade to WP 3 yet. Afraid of what it might do to some custom tweaking we've done.
