Modification in Display of Cateogaries

Hi Peter,

        I have just started using this plugin and I am quite amazed with the work and efforts
        poured by you and it's really admirable. I just went through the forum and several posts
        in past 1 year you have made and It's really excellent that despite of your busy schedule
        you find time to be supportive.

        As of now I need some information regarding the modification of the plug-in. I am working
        on a site with roughly 5 main categories and 20 sub-categories in each main category.
         Using AVHEC, I am able to show them in hierarchical format along with a drop down but
         it's not giving the good appeal in User Interface.
       
        So, I want that initially only main cateogaries should be displayed and after clicking on main
        category  it should further display the sub-categories of the corresponding category.

        I am open for making the changes in coding PHP/HTML/CSS , Just tell me the right spot in the right
        file where to hit to achieve the desired result.
